The Los Angeles Kings visit Capital One Arena on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, with puck drop at 7:00 p.m. EDT. The Capitals enter at 5-3-0, while the Kings are winless at 0-4-2. That record gap makes the home team a heavy favorite. Washington is a -150 moneyline favorite with the total set at 5.5.

Logan Thompson is the projected starter for Washington. He is 4-2-0 with a .910 save percentage and a 2.69 goals-against average. Anton Forsberg is expected in goal for Los Angeles. The Caps will be without Justin Sourdif, and coach Spencer Carbery expects Pierre-Luc Dubois to miss a fifth straight game.

The Capitals are 4-1 at Capital One Arena this season and 15-2-2 in their last 19 home games since Jan. 31. Boone Jenner has four goals in his last five games.

The game broadcasts on Monumental Sports Network locally and ABTV for Kings viewers. Tickets are on sale now through Capital One Arena's website.
