Hamilton Leithauser and Rostam open their first-ever tour at the 9:30 Club

Ten years after 'I Had a Dream That You Were Mine' came out, the Walkmen frontman and former Vampire Weekend co-founder finally hit the road together. They kick off a November run in their shared hometown.

Hamilton Leithauser and Rostam have never toured together before. That changes November 5 at the 9:30 Club, where their 11-date The Joint Tour begins in what both musicians call their hometown. Tickets and details are at IMP Concerts.

The occasion is the 10th anniversary of I Had a Dream That You Were Mine, released on Glassnote in September 2016. Leithauser was the frontman of The Walkmen; Rostam Batmanglij co-wrote and produced Vampire Weekend albums before going solo. The record they made together moved between doo-wop, country-rock, and baroque pop, and critics largely loved it.

Support comes from Dublin folk group Madra Salach and Sam and Louise Sullivan. Doors are at 7 p.m. To mark the anniversary, the duo also put out a new piano version of the album track 'In a Black Out.' The tour runs through November 19 in Los Angeles, with stops in Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, and San Francisco.
