The headliner: Georgetown basketball opens at Capital One Arena

Georgetown opens its season Monday, November 2 when the Hoyas welcome Loyola Maryland to Capital One Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The game broadcasts on ESPN+ with Jeremy Huber on play-by-play and Kion Brown on analysis, and airs locally on Bloomberg 99.1 with Rich Chvotkin calling his 53rd season.

Georgetown and Loyola Maryland will meet for the 44th time in program history, with the Hoyas holding a 36-7 edge dating back to the 1908-09 season. Tickets start from $7 through Vivid Seats. Capital One Arena is at 601 F St. NW, Penn Quarter.
